Everything you need to know before your first game. Don't worry — we've got you.
Airsoft is a tactical team sport where players use realistic replica firearms that fire small 6mm plastic BBs. Think of it as a video game come to life — except you're running around a real arena, heart pounding, ducking behind cover, and working with your team to complete objectives.
Unlike paintball, there's no messy paint splat. Airsoft uses an honour system: if you're hit, you call yourself out. It's more realistic, more tactical, and (we think) way more fun.
Let's be honest — yes, a little bit. Getting hit feels like a firm flick or a bee sting. It stings for a second, then fades. Most players barely notice it during the heat of gameplay because of the adrenaline.
Here's how we minimise it:
You might get a small bruise or two. Think of them as trophies.
Walk in a beginner. Walk out a regular. Here's exactly what happens on your first visit.
Arrive 30 minutes before your session starts. Head to reception to sign in, show ID, and complete your waiver. Grab a coffee and get comfortable.
If you've got a Rental Package, we'll kit you out: AEG gun, full-face mask, tactical vest, magazine loaded and battery fitted. Everything you need.
Mandatory for every player, every session. We cover rules, FPS limits, hit-calling, safe zones, emergency procedures, and how to operate your equipment. Pay attention — this matters.
Every gun gets tested — including rentals. We fire three shots through the chrono to confirm you're under our 350 FPS limit. This keeps everyone safe.
Marshals split players into teams and explain the game mode. We start with simpler modes to warm you up, then ramp up to more tactical scenarios as the session progresses.
Between games, head back to the safe zone. Free tea and coffee, reload your mags, chat tactics, and rest up. After the final game, hand back your kit and head home buzzing.
Dress for comfort and movement. You'll be running, crouching, and crawling. Everything gets a bit dusty.
If it's your first time, the Rental Package is for you. At £50 for a full day, it includes literally everything you need to play:
You bring: suitable clothes and a sense of adventure. That's it.
See All PackagesCommunication wins games. Call out enemy positions, coordinate pushes, and let your teammates know when you're moving. Silent teams lose.
Static players get flanked. Keep shifting position, use cover, and don't be afraid to push forward. Aggression (controlled) wins in CQB.
The honour system is what makes airsoft work. If you think you're hit, call it. Better to walk off a maybe-hit than lose the respect of your fellow players.
Marshals are there for your safety and the smooth running of the game. Follow their instructions immediately — no arguments. They're also great sources of tips if you ask!
The more layers, the less you'll feel hits. A hoodie over a long-sleeve top is ideal. Don't overdress though — you'll get warm running around.
You'll get hit. You'll miss shots. You'll get taken out early in a game. So does everyone! Laugh it off, respawn, and get back in. It's a game — enjoy it.
Reality: The vast majority of our players are regular people — office workers, students, families — who want a fun, active day out. There's no dress code, no military background needed, and no expectation that you know anything about tactics. Just turn up and play.
Reality: A Rental Package is £50 for a full day — that's 6+ hours of entertainment, all equipment included, and free tea and coffee. Cheaper than a theme park, a Premier League ticket, or a night out. And if you get hooked (you will), walk-on sessions are just £30 with your own gear.
Reality: Airsoft is for everyone. We welcome players of all genders, ages (12+), and fitness levels. Our arena and game modes are designed to be accessible. Don't let stereotypes put you off — some of the sharpest players we know don't fit the "typical" image.
Reality: You don't need to be an athlete. Our indoor arena is compact — you're never far from cover or a respawn point. There's walking, crouching, and short bursts of movement, but you can play at your own pace. Take breaks whenever you need them.
Reality: Airsoft guns are TOYs — specifically, realistic imitation firearms (RIFs) that fire lightweight 6mm plastic BBs. They are battery-powered, have no gunpowder, no bullets, and no lethal capability. They are legal, regulated, and safe when used with proper face protection.
